Purchased a rebuilt motor, it did not run. Returned it for replacement.

Oh after paying for it to be installed. Received another one and this one had a head that was cracked, they tell me the warranty is only good on the first motor and that the replacement one is not covered. Had to purchase another head and pay for that to be installed.

Not happy with them at all would like for other to be aware of their policy and tell you to look somewhere else for your motor or any other product you are thinking about purchasing from them.

Monetary Loss: $3200.

I am having the same problem here. My mechanic friend recommended LKQ and contacted them to purchase the engine, once installed, the engine did not crank well.

I took it to another mechanic and found the engine is defective; no pressure in valves. LKQ sales rep ignored my calls or placed me on hold instantly for an hour or more. LKQ requested I take the van to another mechanic shop which found the same issue. They will not pay the recommended hours to remove/reinstall a replacement; and only pay at a reduced labor.

At this point, I do not want to go further, I do not have money to pay more labor and "hope" to get reimbursed. Plus, I have read these reviews and know that I should pull out. But the problem now is that LKQ supervisor in OR refused to accept return but will replace this engine. I am stuck but will push for a refund; I can no longer pay to fix this issue or afford to trust this misleading company.

I have read other complaints but none show refunds; anyone have that experience?
