we went to get front bumper horns had to cut them with a jaw saw they wouldn't sell them to us they said no cutting no sign says no cutting all sign said no torches r jacks wont b going back they would not go get manger that sucks we have been going two or four times a week when other owners had it we love going they treat u like family now all they wants money not friendly at all wont b going... Way overpriced (on the few occasions that I've been they quoted me prices that were higher than Advance or Autozone for the same part), unprofessional, & rude. There are better alternatives. US 70 hwy. Clayton Nc Add comment

My employer is actually related to these creeps. Nonetheless, after purchasing 3 "warranteed" engines here in Orlando --2 of which weren't even washed, all three failed within minutes or weeks of being installed. Clearly all their parts are pulled from wrecks and placed for sale. A good-looking logo, slick site/telephone ad. covers a monopoly on mom and pop operations motivating them to sell... Read more

If you want your blood to boil at 8am, then this is the place for you. 1st, they charge you $2 just to get in. 2nd, not only do they not inventory their merchandise, but there is no organizational strategy in place whatsoever. 3rd, the 2 gentlemen that I spoke with were incredibly rude and extremely unprofessional. LKQ, like kind quality, all three of these words do not describe this company and why is this you ask? Well to begin with it is all about the quota, especially when is comes to well everything, for instance there must be X amount of dollars made in sales per month and X amount of cars bought dismantled and processed(yard) then X amount of scrap metal(aluminum,steel etc) and scrap wire(copper)... I have been selling 500 cars a year less or more to Charleston LKQ. Accident happens power pole hit by forklift, pole breaks in half electric lines down on cars and fence. Yard closed for over 7 hours, I think as I seen employees on the job smoking *** in the processing area and in the parking lot of LKQ. I was sold the wrong part... I was told my money would be refunded in 3-5 days... It has been over a week and still NO refund... I called accounting to see what was going on she said they just received the refund order two days ago! Add comment

I purchased a rear axel for my Jeep and had it shipped to my shop. Their rep picked up the old axel soon after. I have called and called and they say they never picked it up. I spoke to my shop and they say the guy has it. We live in a small town so there is only one guy who has this route. My shop even called LKQ to tell them they have picked up the axel. I called these guys looking for a transmission. The rep was beyond abusive, useless, rude, horrible. He told me he couldn't look up the part I needed by part number, only by model year. I was like, wow, that's inconvenient, because I need a different trans than the car came with; I want to upgrade to a later model.
